Online Banking (Domestic Wires)
Online banking is the fastest, easiest, and most convenient way to make a payment to or receive a refund from the university.
A student can register a U.S. bank account to their student account via Student Information Online (SIO). Students can make payments with a click of a button and refunds can be electronically deposited into the same account.
The university will not initiate a withdrawal from a student's registered bank account. Funds can only be withdrawn when a student schedules a payment through SIO.
View instructions for registering a bank acount with a student account. You will need access to SIO and:
- a U.S. bank transit routing number
- a U.S. bank account type and number
A newly registered account will be ready to use in two days or less. The first scheduled payment will be delayed by one day for account verification and subsequent payments will occur on the next business day if placed before 4 p.m. EST. For example, if a new bank account is registered at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012, the earliest possible payment date is Monday, July 2, 2012.
To check the status of an online banking payment, log into SIO, mouse over the 'Finances' tab and click 'Bank Account Activity' to see scheduled, pending or completed payments.
