The My Plaid Student (MPS) identity service provider update is complete and invitations and access changes are now available. In order for existing MPS users to log in to MPS, they will need to be re-invited by their student via Student Information Online (SIO) and will need to complete the registration process after receiving a guest invitation by email. What is My Plaid Student?
My Plaid Student (MPS) gives authorized users access to a student's invoices and student account activity, as well as the ability to request enrollment verifications.
When students complete the authorization process, they can select the categories of information their invited user may access. Other categories of information will be available through My Plaid Student in the near future. As new features become available in My Plaid Student, the student can update the areas of information available to the user.
Authorization & Access
The student grants access to the user (typically a family member of the student) via Student Information Online (SIO). The user will get a guest invitation email with a link to begin the My Plaid Student registration and log-in process.
Registration with Cirrus Identity Services is needed in order to access My Plaid Student, unless the invited user has an active Carnegie Mellon Andrew email account. Cirrus uses certain social providers (Google and Yahoo) to offer protected access to My Plaid Student. These providers allow the user to self-register for My Plaid Student log in.
