Eric Sloss


Eric is the director of communications for the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. He promotes the Conservancy's diverse, yet synergetic, preservation efforts in land and water conservation, art and architecture, urban greening and environmental science. Prior to joining the Conservancy, Eric was the director of Public Relations for the Carnegie Mellon University's College of Fine Arts. He managed public relations for the economic development nonprofit Mon Valley Initiative and has worked in agency, private and nonprofit sectors. Eric was selected by Pittsburgh Magazine and Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project as one of Pittsburgh's "40 under 40" for making a positive impact on the western Pennsylvania region. He has been recognized with a number of local and national professional awards in art, new media and marketing.
