Terrance Hayes Participates in Writer Exchange Program

English Professor Terrance Hayes is spending a month of his summer in Brussels, Belgium as part of a new annual writer exchange program between City of Asylum/Pittsburgh (COA/PGH) and Belgium-based literary organization Passa Porta. Hayes will be touring the city and meeting other writers during his residency. According to COA/PGH president Henry Reese, the purpose of the program is to build an ongoing relationship between Pittsburgh and Brussels. Passa Porta plans to send Flemish author Paul Mennes to Pittsburgh in August or September.
