Kathy Newman Writes About the Super Bowl and Social Class

CMU English Professor Kathy Newman is a regular blogger for the Center for Working Class Studies at Youngstown State University. Her latest contribution, Hard Day's Work: The Super Bowl and the Working Class, explores how the 2011 Super Bowl relates to social class. Her entry features discussion of the social status associated with the two teams' cities, fans, and even players.

On January 31, she also posted an entry entitled "Movin' on Down: CMT addresses the Working Class" about a new show airing on CMT.
