Drug and Alcohol Testing
Certain groups of employees may be subject to pre-employment and post-incident drug and alcohol testing. Drug and alcohol testing policies apply to the following categories of staff:
- Facilities Management Services Staff (non-DOT-covered)
- University Police Department Employees (non-DOT-covered)
If you suspect that an employee is abusing drugs (illegal or prescription) or alcohol in a way that is affecting performance, contact the LifeWorks Management Line to receive assistance in understanding your management options, addressing the issue with the person and referring the individual to the employee assistance program.
