Benefits for Non-Active Employees

Carnegie Mellon provides many vehicles for employees to continue their benefits when they no longer have active, benefits-eligible appointments at Carnegie Mellon (or their dependents are no longer benefits-eligible).  We value our retired faculty and staff who helped to build the University we have today through our Retiree Medical Benefits. We provide continuation in our benefits through COBRA for those who lose eligibility or separate from the university prior to the retirement age of 65.
