Benefits and Fitness Fair
The Benefits & Fitness Fair will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011.
The Benefits & Fitness Fair is held annually in conjunction with Open Enrollment. Human Resources staff are present to answer questions and assist employees in enrolling in benefits. At the Fair, you can also:
- meet with benefits and fitness vendors to discuss their plans,
- learn more about the services available through HR and Athletics
- receive free health screenings and demonstrations,
- get free handouts, giveaways and raffle prizes, and
- receive a free flu shot.
Door Prizes and Giveaways
Many of our vendors donate fabulous raffle items for the Fair, as well as having giveaways at their booths. Bring your Benefits Fair postcard with you to the Fair for easy registration into all of our raffles. (Limit: one door prize per person.)
Flu Shots
University Health Services will be administering free Flu Shots during the Fair for staff and faculty. Free shots are also available for students with the CMU-Highmark student health insurance. Other students and the spouses/partners of faculty and staff are eligible to receive the shot for a fee of $15. Flu shots will be available throughout the Fair, while supplies last.
To obtain a flu shot, you will need to present your Carnegie Mellon ID card and complete the Authorization form listed below.
If you cannot attend the Fair, you can attend another flu vaccine clinic.
