About Human Resources

Human Resources Organization

Human Resources is organized into five units:

  1. Benefits and Compensation - manages all aspects of our total compensation package, from benefit programs to compensation practices
  2. Equal Opportunity Services - helps the University reap the benefits of diversity by promoting fairness, sensitivity, compliance and services
  3. HR Services - provides recruiting and employee relations support for individuals, managers and departments
  4. Learning and Development - provides University-wide and customized training and organizational development programs
  5. Human Resources Information Technology Services - supports and enhances the technology applications that support HR needs, and provide user assistance

The Human Resources Mission

  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate effective human resource strategies, policies and programs to support the University's goals and objectives, improve management processes, address employee needs, and provide cost-effective services.
  • Make available to employees the information, tools, systems and support services which enable them to manage their careers in support of the success of the University.
  • Provide managers and supervisors with the information, tools, systems and support services to effectively develop their human resources and achieve department goals.
