HPP Library
The goal of our library is threefold: to inform students about career options in the health professions, to provide useful resources for the application process and to inspire students with informative non-fiction literature relevant to the health professions. A partial list of our holdings is here in PDF format. In addition, there are many good lists of relevant books. For example, the students and faculty members at Union College have compiled a thoughtful list of medically themed books.
If you would like to recommend a book for acquisition by our library, please send the request to hpp-office@andrew.cmu.edu
If you would like to write a short review or recommendation of a book you have found interesting, useful or inspiring, please send it to hpp-office@andrew.cmu.edu. We will be interested to consider it for addition to this page.
