Washing machines and dryers are provided in all residence halls. Some machines require coins to operate while others require a student ID card. Please report service problems via maintenance requests.Carnegie Mellon uses a web-based monitoring system called e-Suds, which the university first piloted nationally in the spring of 2004. This system permits students to check on the availability of washers and dryers online. You can also create a user account to get automatic notifications via email, cell phone or PDA when your washing or drying cycle is complete.
