Summer housing is available for Carnegie Mellon students who are attending summer school or for Carnegie Mellon students affiliated with the university who require housing for a period equivalent to a summer school session. Summer housing will be offered in The Residence on Fifth, Fairfax Apartments and Webster Hall — all of which are air-conditioned.
Singles, doubles, and triples will be available and students will be assigned based on application date. Students who have special needs should mark their housing application appropriately and get in touch with the corresponding office as noted. Other accommodations will be made if necessary. The minimum period of time a student can apply for housing is one summer school session.
Transitional Housing is available for international graduate students or undergraduate exchange students requiring housing between August 1, 2014 and August 9, 2014. Registration for Transitional Housing will begin on June 27.
Summer Guest Housing is available through Conference & Event Services from June 1, 2014 through noon on August 2, 2014. In order to qualify for Guest Housing, a guest must be affiliated with Carnegie Mellon University. For more information regarding Guest Housing, please visit the Conference & Event Services website.”
