First-year Housing Options

Campus housing is guaranteed to all incoming first-year students. Most first-year students are assigned to designated first-year areas in traditional residence halls or apartments. All of our residences — including the Oakland apartments — support a positive transition to college through strong communities of peers and mentors, provide students with opportunities for meaningful community engagement, and encourages the development of life-long relationships and friendships. Although first-year students may be assigned to any of the university's residence halls and apartments, the buildings listed on the right are designated (or have designated floors) exclusively for first-year students for the 2015-2016 academic year.
