Check-in for international first-year students

As an international student, you have received documentation from the Office of International Education and the Office of Housing and Dining Services instructing you on arriving to campus. You will be pre-approved to arrive the campus a day early in order to attend the first-year international orientation. International student check-in for students participating in International Orientation is Friday, August 16, 2013 from 9 am to 6 pm.

Please be advised that you are not permitted to move into or store your belongings in your fall assignment before check-in day on August 16. If you plan to arrive to Pittsburgh prior to check-in day, a list of accommodations is provided on the Office of International Education website or the Visit Carnegie Mellon Web page.

The check-in tent will be located on the Morewood E-Tower lawn (visible from the intersection of Forbes Avenue & Morewood Avenue) and is open from 9 am to 6 pm. All international first-year students should check-in here, regardless of which building you were assigned to.

Representatives from the Office of International Education will be available to answer questions and assist you with moving your belongings to your room.

If you arrive after 6 pm, your key will be available at the Morewood Gardens service desk. Please follow the posted signs.
