Welcome newly admitted first-year students

Congratulations and welcome to Carnegie Mellon! This site was designed to help new, incoming first-year students (and College of Fine Art transfer students) navigate all of the important information surrounding the housing application and room assignments process. This is your one-stop-shop for all information related to Housing and Dining for new first-year students.

The housing application for newly admitted students starting in the Fall 2013 semester will be available on mid-March 2013.

New transfer students (other than College of Fine Arts transfers) should submit the online upper-class housing application as soon as possible.
