Spring Closing 2013

As the academic year winds down, we hope you all have had a successful year! Everyone is sure to be busy preparing for finals and summer break.

Within the Spring Closing 2013 Memo [pdf]  is all the information you will need for the closing of all university housing. Please read all the information carefully and explore all the suggested links for accurate directions to smoothly check out your room and prepare for summer. Residents living in leased Greek houses please refer to the Greek Spring Closing memo 2013 [pdf].

By May 3, residents are to schedule a date and time to physically check out of their room with their RA. There is also an Express Check-out form that can be completed in case the RA is not available during the time the resident leaving. Please see your RA to obtain an Express Check-out form and further instructions on where to return it.

Oakland residents in Fairfax, Neville, Residence on Fifth, Shady Oak and Webster will need to return their keys in the envelope provided by their RA to the Residence on Fifth Service desk upon departure. Failure to return your keys will result in a charge for a lock change.

We are already excited and planning for your return to campus on August 22, 2013 for the fall semester. Congratulations on a successful year at Carnegie Mellon University! Please contact us if you have any questions and have a great summer!
