Free Programs for Students, Faculty, and Staff

University Health Services:

A health promotion specialist is available to meet with you to talk about your tobacco use and readiness to quit. Together, you will create a personalized plan that may include aids or medications. Regular visits are scheduled to help support you through the process of quitting.

Pennsylvania Free Quitline:

1-800 QUIT NOW (1-800-784-8669) is offered through a partnership of the Pennsylvania Department of Health and the American Cancer Society. This telephone-based program offers individual coaching, structured assistance for tobacco cessation, and eligible participants can receive up to 8 weeks of nicotine replacement therapy (patches, gum, lozenges) at no cost.   
The Quitline can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
