Sexual Health

Sexual health encompasses all areas of wellness- mental, social, emotional, and physical. Taking care of your physical sexual health involves personal hygiene practices and getting a check-up by a health care provider. We offer many confidential services to support your sexual health.

Sexual Health Care

All straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, transgender, single, partnered, and polyamorous individuals should have an annual health exam.

In particular, sexually active individuals 21 years of age or older with female reproductive organs should also have an annual gynecological exam (gynecology is health care for the female reproductive system).

What is Sexual Activity?

Any voluntary sexual behavior we do.

Some sexual activities we do by ourselves, and others we do with other people. Some examples of common sexual activities are kissing, touching, oral sex, vaginal sex, and anal sex. A person who participates in any of these activities is considered to be sexually active.
