Healthy U: Student Wellness Project

What is Healthy U?

Healthy U is an upcoming study that all undergraduate and graduate students will be invited to participate in, via email, October 17-31.  It was created to assess the health behaviors of our student community, following last year’s campus conversations about the student experience at Carnegie Mellon.  We've actually created two unique surveys: one for undergraduates and one for graduate students.  This project is sponsored by University Health Services, Institutional Research & Analysis, Counseling & Psychological Services, and other campus partners.

Why participate?

Students can give voice to their health needs and help us understand campus health trends.  By participating, students will help improve and grow campus wellness initiatives.  We're excited that both undergraduate and graduate students will be able to share information that is relevant for them.

What’s in it for students?

Students’ input will help to enhance the well-being of the entire campus community … PLUS free frozen yogurt for everyone who completes the survey and every 50th student will receive the choice of a dinner block at a campus dining location or a Healthy U stadium blanket.
