Facilities Coordinators Responsibilities
Facilities Coordinators are responsible for:
- Department academic offices
- Professor's offices
- Classrooms
- Studios
- Labs used only by your department
- Storage areas used only by your department
If anyone reports a problem in your area, please investigate it, correct it and/or report it if necessary to FMS. If you see a problem in any area outside your own, please report it to the coordinator responsible (see contact list).
Building Recycling Coordinators Responsibilities
Building Recycling Coordinators are responsible for:
- entrances and exits to buildings
- spaces immediately around the building
- hallways
- common areas
- lobbies
- lounges
- stairwells
- vending areas
- any spaces used by more than one department, but not any classrooms used exclusively by one department.
If there are any 'gray areas' where two or more coordinators' responsibilities might overlap, use the Contact List to meet with the other coordinators involved and decide who will be responsible for that area. This will eliminate any overlooked areas or double orders.
