Recycling in the Dorms
Within campus housing, students can recycle cans, plastic, glass,
paper and cardboard. Other things like CD cases, batteries and transparencies
can be taken to the Recycling Center in the University Center. Find
your housing listed below for specific details on how to recycle.

Hammerschlag
What:Steel and aluminum cans, #1 - #5 plastics, glass,
and paper. Cardboard can be placed next to the paper bins.
Where: Cans, plastic and glass go in stations at the end
of the hall. Paper goes in blue half round bins next to the trash/recycling
stations. Cardboard can be set next to the paper bins.
Boss and McGill
What: Steel and aluminum cans, #1 - #5 plastics, glass,
and paper. Cardboard can be placed next to the paper bins.
Where: Cans, plastic and glass go in stations at the end
of the hall. Paper goes in blue half round bins next to the trash/recycling
stations. Cardboard can be set next to the paper bins.
Scobell and Welch
What: Steel and aluminum cans, #1 - #5 plastics, glass,
and paper.
Where: Cans, plastic and glass go in blue bins in the trash
closets.
Donner
What: Steel and aluminum cans, #1 - #5 plastics, glass,
and paper. Cardboard can be placed next to the paper bins.
Where: Cans, plastic and glass go rectangular blue bins with
round holes. Paper goes in bins with document slots. Cardboard can
be set next to the paper bins. There should be one of each recycling
bin per hall.
West Wing and Resnik
What: Steel and aluminum cans, #1 - #5 plastics, glass,
and paper. Cardboard can be placed next to the paper bins.
Where: Cans, plastic, glass and paper go in stations at the
end of the hall. Cardboard can be set next to the stations.
Morewood A-D Towers
What: Steel and aluminum cans, #1 - #5 plastics, glass,
and paper. Cardboard can be placed next to the paper bins.
Where: Cans, plastic and glass go in large blue bins that
can be found in each hall. Paper goes in blue bins with document slots
in the top, which can be found in the lounges only. Cardboard can
be set next to the paper bins.
Morewood E Tower

and paper. Cardboard can be placed next to the paper bins.

of the hall. Paper goes in blue bins next to the trash/recycling stations.
