Energy Fest 2003: Raising Awareness about Energy Use

Energy Fest 2003 took place on October 21, 2003.

The Carnegie Mellon community has much to learn about energy production, consumption, and conservation, and many are ready to do so. It is therefore important to create opportunities for students, staff and faculty to expand their knowledge, leading not only to better educated people, but perhaps also to new perspectives and ideas for solving current energy and environmental problems.

Energy Fest '03 is just one of many projects and initiatives the Green Practices Committee (GPC) is undertaking to achieve this objective. The Carnegie Mellon GPC's focus on environmentally sustainable practices aims to provide leadership in demonstrating the need and importance of environmentally sustainable practices in our places of work, our homes, and in our communities.
