Practices Dining Services Subcommittee to develop approaches for
reduction of waste generation in campus food service.
- Feasibility Study for Food Composting Project
- work with Barb Kviz on identification of opportunities for food
composting demonstration projects on or near campus.
- Recycling Improvements in Housing and Fraternities
- work with Barb Kviz and Dan Askin of Housing Services to identify
means of improving recycling in housing and fraternities.
- Recycling Container Audit and Re-Labeling Effort
- improve placement of containers and provide proper labeling in
academic buildings.
Tracking Projects: - Recycling and waste tracking weights. Design a system for tracking
all collected materials.
- Transportation - what effect does the free bus pass have on
lowering the amount of vehicles on campus?
- Marketing Plan - work with Barb Kviz and Green Practices Committee to develop an overall communication and marketing plan for the Green Practices Program on campus.
