Inter-University Graduate Students of Color Dinner Series, 2011-12
Students of color face unique challenges and bring invaluable experiences and perspectives to Carnegie Mellon. A series of inter-university dinners, co-sponsored with the University of Pittsburgh seeks to sustain graduate students of color at these institutions. In this highly interactive program, members of our university communities will provide advice, mentoring, and share their experiences through talks, panels, discussions, and exercises with graduate students. Students are encouraged to build broad support networks.
THEME: "Developing Fellowship"
You must pre register to attend a dinner.
Please note, regarding missing a dinner:
Students who RSVP to attend a dinner and then do not come will not be eligible to attend the next dinner. In order to avoid this unfortunate outcome, should something unavoidable come up, please simply email or call us before the dinner, even if it is last minute, or get in touch with us the next day to let us know what happened. We routinely have to turn students away, for lack of space, and it is a shame to save a seat for someone who doesn't show up, when others would be so happy to attend. Many thanks for your thoughtfulness on this issue.
