Spring 2012 University-wide Graduate Student Orientation


The Carnegie Mellon University-wide Spring 2012 Graduate Student Orientation will take place on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 1:15pm-5pm. This Orientation is for ALL GRADUATE STUDENTS starting Spring Semester 2012. Graduate Student Orientation will start with lunch for all participants and following sessions will inform you about university-level requirements, services, programs and the resources beyond your department. It is your chance to meet administrators and student leaders who are focused on the graduate student experience at Carnegie Mellon. 


Please pre-register so we can plan to have enough lunches for everyone.

If You Are an International Student:


The Office of International Education (OIE) will host their welcome and required sessions for ALL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 9am-1pm. This orientation is required for all international students (i.e. exchange, undergraduate and graduate students), and will have information about immigration issues, as well as cultural and academic resources at Carnegie Mellon and in Pittsburgh.
