Deadlines for Incoming Students

In addition to the dates listed below, you should consult the university academic calendar and Graduate Education Events and Opportunities calendar for important dates.

Fall 2017

Immediately

Set your Andrew ID password and Andrew email account.  

Tepper MBA Students please consult the Tepper Countdown Web site for more information about your Tepper Email Account.

June 30

Submit health history and immunization forms to Health Services via HealthConnect.

July 1

Registration begins for University-Wide Graduate Fall Orientation.

Tepper MBA Students please consult the Tepper Countdown Web site for more information about the Tepper Base Camp Program.

July 15

Enrollment/waiver period begins for student health, dental, and vision insurance (Student Health Plan) for incoming students.  Eligible participants have a specific enrollment period once each academic year (called "open enrollment") for their medical enrollment or waiver decisions

August 4-17

International Graduate Student Orientation programs begin. There are several sessions available to choose from. All F and J students are required to attend one session. Registration is required.

August 9

Deadline to Register for University-wide Graduate Student Fall Orientation.

August 14-16 University-wide Graduate Student Orientation.
August 15

Deadline for Fall 2017 and Mini-1 tuition payment. You can view/pay your bill via the Billing & Payments page at The HUB.

Carnegie Mellon offers a payment plan that allows students and families to pay amounts due to the university in manageable monthly installments and provides the convenience of enrolling and making payments online through Tuition Management Systems (TMS).

August 28

First day of Fall semester and Mini-1 classes.

September 12

Deadline to enroll in the Student Health Plan or apply for a waiver.

October 15

Deadline for Fall Mini-2 tuition payment. You can view/pay your bill via the Billing & Payments page at The Hub.

If you desire parking

Submit your application for a campus parking permit. The online open enrollment period is now closed. Anyone who has not applied yet and still wishes to be allocated an individual permit to park on campus during the coming year, including those seeking a disability or universal permit, must come to the Parking & Transportation Office located on the lower level of the Cohon University Center to fill out a paper application.
