Through partnerships, scholarships, and donations, we fully-fund all students participation.

Therefore, the program is designed to be a break-even deal for students.

Roundtrip air fare from Pittsburgh to the work location is paid for.

The development partners in the host community provide accommodations and a stipend to cover food and incidentals.

Students are responsible for expenses related to passport application, immunizations, entertainment, excursions, and souvenirs.

Students in past years reported that the covered program costs and daily stipend were sufficient to avoid spending their own money.

Please note: the student consultants will receive no additional wage or salaries.
