Connections through Technology

Videoconferencing technology and an equipped classroom that allows students to see one another and whole classrooms across distance and discuss easily with devices at their desk enables us to "visit" a clinic in Zambia or conduct real-time simultaneous classes in our Pittsburgh and Doha campuses, or have students work in teams in Pittsburgh, Brazil, Israel and Turkey or in Pittsburgh and Singapore.

Faculty have learned that technology is the easy part in communicating, the real challenge is to be able to talk and work across cultures!
