League of Immuno Legends

This project aims to give students the ability to classify and explain the different types of immune cells and their corresponding roles, recognize the immune system pathways, better identify the different immune responses, and recall basic immunoengineering applications. It does this in a two-part approach comprised of a slide show introduction to the immune system and immunoengineering applications, and a role-playing card game in which the students learn about different immune cells as they play.  You can also download assessment pages and answer keys that can be used with your students.

Slides are available as a ppt file and as a pdf file.  Note that the ppt file is large so it will download when you click on it.  You can explore the pdf version online prior to downloading the larger file.
