• ACLS Dissertation Fellowships in American Art
  $25,000 stipend for PhD students in art history who are at any stage of dissertation research or writing. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

• The Harriet Hale Woolley Scholarship
  Funding for a 1-year residency in france working on a research project. Open to U.S.-citizen graduate and post-graduate students in visual fine arts and music.
  
• The Julia and David White Artists' Colony
  A private retreat in Costa Rica for artists of all types.
• French American Cultural Exchange
  Financial support, programs, and projects in music, theater, dance, cinema, education, and the visual arts, support. Open to students of all levels.
  
• The Kate Neal Kinley Memorial Fellowship
  $8,500-$20,000 to defray the costs of advanced study in the U.S. or abroad. Open to students with a Bachelor's degree in instrumental or vocal music, architectual design or history,  landscape architecture, urban or regional planning, art, design, theatre, or dance.
• Gary B. Multanen - CM Magazine Applied Research Student Scholarship
  $1,000 to U.S.-citizen undergraduate and graduate students in engineering, research, or other composites-based curriculum. Art students working with composite materials in restoration or sculpture also are encouraged to apply.
• Museum of Contemporary Art - Marjorie Susman Curatorial Fellowship
  $8,500 stipend for a 6-month fellowship as a curator with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Open to graduate-level students.
  
• National Gallery of Art - Curatorial Fellowships
  Many internships with the National Gallery of Art for graduate students with an interest in museums or museum education.
• New York Foundation for the Arts Source
  A free national database of grants, awards, services, and publications for artists of all disciplines
  
• PCA Individual Artist Grants and Fellowships
  $5,000-$10,000 to individual visual and performing artists in a variety of disciplines. Open to artists currently NOT enrolled in a degree program, who have lived in Pennsylvania for at least 2 years.
  
• Fox Foundation Resident Actor Fellowships
  $15,000-$25,000 for a 3-year acting development and enrichment program, includng individual work with master artists in the U.S. and internationally. Open to acting students who have graduated in the past 10 years, who have considerable experience in professional theatre.
• Studio Art Centers International: Florence
  Various opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to study studio art, art history, art conservation, or Italian language and literature in Florence, Italy.
• SACI - The Gillian Award
  $3,000 scholarship to live and work in Florence, Italy. Open to female artists with demonstrated artistic achievement and a bachelor's degree.
• SACI - The Jules Maidoff Scholarship
  $2,500 scholarship to study abroad in Florence Italy, offered only on the basis of exceptional talent and need.
• SACI -Elizabeth A. Sackler Museum Educational Trust SACI Scholarship
  Up to $30,000 to study abroad in Florence, Italy. Open to women who exhibit excellence in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, or art conservation, and intend to pursue a career in one of these fields.
• Swann Foundation Fellowships
  $15,000 to assist the fellow in his/her ongoing scholarly research and writing projects in the field of caricature and cartoon. One must be a candidate for an M.A. or Ph.D. degree in an accredited graduate program in a university in the United States, Canada or Mexico and working toward the completion of a dissertation or thesis for that degree, or be engaged in postgraduate research within three years of receiving an M.A. or Ph.D.

  Various funding opportunities for artist-in-residence programs in North America, Asia, Europe, or Africa. Open to students at various levels.
  
• Virginia E. Lewis Scholarship Fund (Pittsburgh Foundation)
  Funding for undergraduate students in art or art history. Open to residents of Allegheny County.
  
• Worldstudio Foundation
  $200-$6,000 for undergraduate or graduate students in fine or commercial arts, design, or architecture. Minority students encouraged to apply.
