Electrical Shutdown Circuit Transfers Associated with Scott Hall Construction 12/20

On Thursday, December 20, from 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM on Friday, December 21, there will be electrical shutdown in Hunt Library, Margaret Morrison Carnegie Hall, Posner Hall, GSIA, Posner Center, Boss, McGill, Scobell Dormitories, Hamerschlag House, Margaret Morrison Apartments and Plaza. Each building will experience first a one hour outage and then a second 30 minute outage to test the transfers.  This shutdown is necessary to prepare for the first phase of construction for Scott Hall.

Hunt Library will have no power on 12/20 from 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM on 12/21 to make 3 splices on circuit 11. Skibo Gym and College of Fine Arts power will be off for 2 to 3 hours during these times.

Building occupants should anticipate that their electronic and electrical equipment will not have power unless they know that this equipment is on an emergency circuit.  All nonessential equipment should be turned off in anticipation of this outage.
