Electrical Shutdown for FMS, Hamburg Hall, Smith Hall and Newell Simon Hall and Reduced Capacity of Campus Chilled Water System 2/1

On Friday, February 1, from 6:00 AM until  8:00 AM power to the Facilities Management Services Building, Hamburg Hall, Smith Hall, and Newell Simon Hall will be shut down.
This is needed for the continued investigation of the electrical accident of January 22.

During this time the campus chilled water system will be operating at reduced capacity.
Cooling to the Parallel Data Lab in the CIC building will be completely shut down during this outage.
Any cooling loads that can be turned off during this period will help us continue to serve critical loads.

Before leaving your space on Thursday occupants should shut down all non-essential equipment.  If you have any questions please contact Kyle Tomer at 8-6332 or kt2n@andrew.cmu.edu .
