University Card

University Cards are provided authorized university employees, at the request of their department or area, to make allowable purchases of goods and services on behalf of the university. There are three types of university cards:

  • Purchasing Card (PCard) – A card issued to authorized employees to make allowable purchases of goods and services on behalf of the university.
  • HAZMAT Card – A type of PCard issued to authorized employees primarily to make allowable purchases of select hazardous materials on behalf of the university. Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) manages administration, maintenance, and compliance review of this card.
  • Travel Card – Departmental and/or individual cards issued by the university designed to simplify and streamline the process of paying for university travel expenses.

Cardholders must complete the appropriate required training prior to obtaining a card.
