At Carnegie Mellon, we have a goal that every graduate should be a steward of the environment. This means, that regardless of your major (or minor) you will be in a setting that allows you to learn about the environment; and in particular, your role in the future sustainability of the environment. Our commitment to 'walk the talk' can be seen in our purchase of wind power, our use of alternative fuel vehicles, our green buildings, our green roofs and our natural habitat areas.
