Design is about answering human needs and desires with creative and responsible products and services. It's a fundamentally human activity that addresses contemporary social problems in ways that other disciplines cannot. Designed artifacts change the way we live; they shape our behavior, and express our identities. Through our work, designers can have a great impact on people's lives.
9 a.m. - noon Studio and intensive instruction
1 - 2 p.m. intensive instruction
2 - 4 p.m. supervised work session
Studio times include field trips to local design firms, lectures, individual instruction, critiques and in-class work sessions.
