Supplies
The following tools and materials may be brought from home or purchased on campus at the University Art Store. Students should be prepared to purchase additional consumable supplies as necessary throughout the course of the program.
- 45° or 30°/60° triangle (medium, plastic)
- Architect’s scale (not engineering scale)
- 24” metal straightedge, cork back
- Olfa knife and blades (large yellow)
- X-Acto knife and #11 blades
- Scissors
- Glue gun, glue sticks
- Tacky or Sobo Glue
- Pencils - 2H, HB, F, 2B, 6B (one each)
- Pencil sharpener (small)
- Erasers (kneaded and magic rub)
- Charcoal - vine, compressed and kole (black, two each)
- White pastel stick (medium hardness)
- Drafting or masking tape
- Push pins, one box (clear pins)
- Bamboo brush
- Black ink, bottle
- 12” roll trace (white)
- 18”x 24” bond pad
- 18”x 24” newsprint pad
- Sketchbook (unlined, approx 9”x 12”, spiral bound)
