Resident - $6,967

The part of the cost that represents tuition is, on a per-unit basis, significantly lower than the normal academic year rate for credit courses.
To be eligible to apply to AP/EA, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Have completed your sophomore year of high school.
Applications are also accepted from:
- Students entering Carnegie Mellon or any other college as freshmen in the fall of 2008.
- Advanced younger students, such as 9th and 10th graders who are Western Pennsylvania residents.
Full-time AP/EA students cannot be employed on or off campus for the duration of the program.
