Undergraduate instrumentalists at Carnegie Mellon can earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in every orchestral instrument, as well as Guitar, Euphonium, Saxophone, and Bagpipes.
Located in the rich cultural environment of Pittsburgh, students have easy access to an incredible variety of concerts, theater, dance, and art exhibits. Neighboring community orchestras and theater companies also offer a multitude of additional performance opportunities for those interested in taking external gigs.
