EST&P Students Win Duke Poster Competition and Third in Case Competition

EST&P student team, Ayush Garg, Gabriel Vizcaino Sanchez, Shashank Sripad and Rushil Zutshi, won the Research Poster Competition at Duke University's Energy Week on Nov. 1, 2016  for their poster on the "Technical and Economic Feasibility of the Wirelessly Charged Electric Bus System in Allegheny County." In addition, the team placed 3rd in the Emerging Energy Markets Case Competition for its proposal on Cuba's Energy Future; more than 30 proposals were submitted worldwide and 12 made it to the final round of the competition. The same team won 2nd place at MIT's Energy Week Poster Competition and the Innovation Prize duke outsideat CMU's Energy Week with the same poster in Spring 2016.
