When to call: Mankoff is an expert in residential conservation behavior, and built the system, a social network for encouraging green behavior. Her research has explored conservation behaviors in low-income communities, landlord/tenant housing situations, businesses, and developing countries. Her current work focuses on automated techniques for controlling indoor temperature in home and workplace environments, and on modeling uncertainty about expected heating and cooling costs in the context of residential housing choices.
