Allen Robinson
Raymond J. Lane Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering
Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering
When to call: Robinson’s research examines the impact of emissions from energy systems on air quality and global climate. A major focus of his research has been the atmospheric transformation of particulate matter emissions from cars, trucks, and other combustion systems. He is also actively working on field measurements and chemical transport modeling to quantify the impact of emissions from unconventional gas development on local and regional air quality and climate.
