Chemical Safety Eyewashes

We hope you will never have to use a chemical safety eyewash, but, should that be necessary, is your eyewash working properly and will it deliver clean water?

If you routinely test it, you can be sure.  We recommend that you test your eyewashes once a month.  (Be sure there is a drain first, though.  If not, place a pail underneath to collect the water.)  Let it run for a few minutes to ensure that the water will be clear.  If it does not work properly, prepare a work order for FMS to repair it.
