As a devout environmentalist, I strive every day to keep my environmental footprint small, and I would like the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge about being eco-friendly with my peers. Residence halls provide favorable circumstances for imparting environmental knowledge in a fun, relaxing way, rather than preaching or petitioning about a cause. I would really enjoy hosting events for my building/floor; some ideas that I have include a bottled water versus tap water taste test, reusable bag bio-tie-dying, and vegan/local food baking lessons.
