Dining Plan Changes
Don't worry if you are unsure about which plan is right for you. At the beginning of every semester, you have a window of time to adjust the mix of meals and flexible dollars of your dining plan.
All meal plan changes must take place during the official dining plan change period at the beginning of each semester:
- In the fall 2015 semester, you may change to other options within you plan color or increase/decrease your meal plan on or before 5:00 pm, on Thursday, September 10, 2015.
- In the spring semester, you may change to other options within your plan color or increase your dining plan to one with a higher number of biweekly meals on or before 5:00 pm, on Thursday, January 21, 2016. You may not decrease your dining plan for the spring semester.
Login to the Dining Portal to make your meal plan changes before the meal plan change deadlines at the beginning of each semester.
After the deadline, you are only permitted to make changes to you meal plan due to a leave of absence, withdrawal, academic suspension, or if you are studying abroad. Changes after the deadlines must be requested via the Dining Plan Change Form and submitted to the Dining Services office.
You may only submit one change request during the meal-plan change periods. When you make changes, you will be refunded a prorated amount effective as of the next biweekly dining plan period. Changes made before or on the change deadlines will be approved and modified by the start of the third biweekly period.Graduate students on the community dining plans can switch between the Piper Select and the Tartan Flex plan. Students can deposit DineXtra into their accounts at any point during the semester via the Dining Portal.
