I am currently a fourth year Ph.D. student in SDS. My research concentrates on the psychological factors that influence consumers’ financial behavior. Specifically, my recent work examines the efficacy of disclosures for consumer financial products, adults’ expectations about their future health and financial outcomes, and how moral judgments of debtors are related to consumer bankruptcy filings. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC, where I founded a computer programming group for research assistants and contributed to research on residential real estate values, money market funds, and the Great Depression. I have a B.A. in Economics and Politics/International Relations, magna cum laude, from Scripps College.
