My main current research is in the field of economics of innovation, entrepreneurship and growth, especially from the firm and industry-level perspective (although some macroeconomic aspects of growth as well). I am also interested in economics of development and institutions, including but not limited to property rights, rent seeking and corruption and their effects on the allocation of human capital.
