Bio

Brandon Wu is a rising sophomore at Carnegie Mellon University pursuing a degree in cognitive science, with a minor in neural computation. He is currently working with Dr. Neeraj Sharma on using machine learning and signal processing concepts in analysis of EEG data. His research interests lie in the computational representations of cognitive processes, particularly as to how they relate to the underlying neurological mechanisms and existing mathematical systems. He hopes to integrate computer science, neuroscience, and psychology, and obtain a Ph.D in his quest to define the most subjective experience of life, human cognition, in objective terms.
