Gómez and Wu Receive Grants for TEL and Digital Humanities Projects

Sue-mei Wu, teaching professor of Chinese Studies, and Felipe Gómez, associate teaching professor of Hispanic Studies, were each recently awarded an Andrew W. Mellon Seed Grant for Technology-Enhanced Learning and Digital Humanities.

Gómez is working on developing an online platform to house digitized Spanish-language comic books and integrate digital tools to enhance research and teaching through scholar-student collaboration. Sue-mei Wu will use the grant to work on modules for an intermediate Chinese online course, which will help to bridge pedagogy, research and technology.
