He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, earning a bachelor’s degree in History. Prior to joining the CMU community, he worked as a journalist and the managing editor for a marketing firm based out of Augusta, Ga. He is pursuing an MAPW as a part-time staff student with special interests in the areas of technical writing, design, and software documentation. In his free time, Michael is a DJ and musician, most recently fronting soul-pop group Neighbours and occasionally moonlighting on Farfisa with local garage rock legends The Cynics.

Hannah completed her undergraduate studies at the College of Wooster in Ohio, earning a B.A. in English in 2011. After graduation, she attended New York University's Summer Publishing Institute where she received a Certificate in Publishing.

Hannah has a varied background in communications, ranging from writing for a small community magazine to one of the world's largest energy companies. She began working at Carnegie Mellon in 2012 as an editorial and administrative assistant in the Department of Chemistry. She now works in the College of Engineering Dean's Office as a communications manager. She is pursuing an M.A. in ​professional writing as a part-time student with particular interest in editing and publishing.

Allison joined Carnegie Mellon’s Integrated Innovation Institute in August 2015 as the Manager of Marketing, Alumni & Employer Relations. Before moving to Pittsburgh, Allison was based in Costa Rica, where she served as the Director of Marketing & Communications for education organization Outward Bound Costa Rica. Her previous experience also includes working in marketing at a fast-paced social media startup in New York City.

Allison holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business/Marketing through a dual degree program offered by Northeastern University in Boston, MA and ICADE Business School in Madrid, Spain. She is pursuing the MAPW program as a part-time student and is especially interested in expanding her abilities in web design, multimedia design and news writing/public relations.
