As Carnegie Mellon's eighth president, I am proud to be part of an institution that has already accomplished so much, yet is always striving to improve. And we will continue to advance if we can create the new opportunities that additional resources make possible. To do this—to deliver on our promise for the next century—we need new investments in the future of Carnegie Mellon.
